What do I get for free? +
The free tier includes the full deterministic analytics engine, 1-minute intraday charts, one trading account, CSV and manual import, and 20 AI credits — no credit card required.
Do the free AI credits expire? +
No. The 20 free credits are a one-time welcome grant at sign-up and never expire. There's no recurring free grant — when they run out you can buy a credit pack or upgrade to Pro for a monthly allotment.
What's the difference between the Pro subscription and AI credits? +
Pro ($19/month or $190/year) unlocks the advanced features — advanced analytics, benchmarking, up to 10 accounts, and broker auto-sync — and includes 400 AI credits a month. AI credits are the metered fuel for AI actions; you can also top up any plan with one-time credit packs.
How many credits does each AI action cost? +
An AI trade review costs 2 credits, a coach question costs 3 credits, and a full account scan costs 8 credits. The deterministic stats and charts are always free — only the AI analysis layer uses credits.
Do credit packs expire? +
No — purchased credit packs never expire. Pro's monthly credits reset each billing cycle (unused monthly credits do not roll over), but any packs you buy stay on your balance until you use them.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. You can cancel Pro at any time from the billing screen; you keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period. Purchased credit packs remain on your account after you cancel.
Which assets and brokers are supported? +
TradeJournalOS supports US stocks and ETFs. You can import a CSV from any broker, enter trades manually, or (on Pro) connect a brokerage for automatic sync. We do not provide tax or wash-sale reporting.
